Warren Ellis and Chris Sprouse’s Ocean series resurfaces from Image Comics in a new trade paperback edition this fall.
Originally published as a six-issue mini-series in 2004 by DC/Wildstorm, Ocean involves an expedition to the frozen moon of Jupiter called Europa, the only celestial body in the solar system that contains water and the possibility of life.
When U.N. weapons inspector Nathan Kane visits Europa to make an assessment on the habitability of the moon, he finds thousands of coffins suspended in the Europan ocean, leading to the question: who put them there and who is inside of them?
