It’s hard to keep a good man down, but it’s even harder to keep a dark lord of the Sith down in Marvel’s new Modern Era Star Wars Epic Collection.
Star Wars: Vader Down collects the storyline of the same name in Star Wars: Darth Vader #13-25, Star Wars: Vader Down one-shot, and Star Wars #13-14.
All stories are written by Kieron Gillen, Jason Aaron, and Jason Latour, with art by Mike Deodato Jr., Salvador Larroca, Mike Norton, and Max Fiumara.
The story begins when Darth Vader crash lands on a planet and the Rebel Alliance assembles to take their shot at eliminating the Emperor’s right-hand man. Jealous rivals vie for Vader’s spot int the event that the Rebels are successful and killer droids Triple Zero and Beetee embark on a secret mission with Doctor Aphra to add to the Imperial intrigue.
The Star Wars: Darth Vader-Vader Down Modern Era Epic Collection consists of 416 pages for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
