Universal Drops Trailer for ‘Halloween Kills’

Universal Pictures just teased a return to Haddonfield with a brand new trailer for Halloween Kills, the sequel to the 2018 picture starring Jamie Lee Curtis and directed by David Gordon Green. The trailer seems to suggest that, much like Halloween II, the film will begin immediately after the events of Halloween (2018).

Those who took issue with the previous film’s departures from the spirit of the source material will likely not be thrilled with the new trailer featuring Michael Myers again killing everyone indiscriminately and a monologue that seems to suggest Myers is achieving supervillain status. However, there are fun breadcrumbs in the clip for Halloween faithfuls, including an appearance by all three of the Silver Shamrock masks from the underappreciated Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

Halloween Kills will debut in theaters on October 15th, 2021. Stay tuned to Conskipper for complete coverage of the hottest horror films as soon as it breaks!
