The folks at Universal Pictures have worked hard cleaning up the Back to the Future trilogy for its 4K UHD debut, and they aren’t shy about showing off the results. The studio took the YouTube to show off the opening scene of the film in all of its 2160p glory.
It’s rare that fans have the chance to preview 4K restorations before buying costly packages, and Universal’s decision to put a sample online for the world to see demonstrates their confidence in the upcoming package. Based on what’s shown, videophiles are in for a treat with this set, as the opening scene looks like it was shot yesterday!
The Back to the Future Trilogy 4K UHD box set is scheduled to hit stores on October 20th, 2020. Stay tuned to Conksipper for complete coverage of all things Back to the Future as soon as it breaks!
