Remember that opening sequence that sent 80s kids running out of theaters with tears in their eyes at the opening of Transformers: The Movie?
Whether this was you or one of your parents, Hasbro is finally prepared to apologize for killing Autobots Ratchet, Brawn, Prowl, Ironhide, and the big man, Optimus Prime in the Fathom Entertainment rerelease titled The Transformers: The Movie: The Apology Tour 40th Anniversary.
While Hasbro may be giving fans an apology, the gut-punch at the start of the film isn’t changing, with screenings beginning on Thursday, September 17 until Monday, September 21.
The film features the voices of Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Casey Kasem, Robert Stack, Lionel Stander, John Moschitta Jr., Scatman Crothers, Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, and Orson Welles, in his final film role.
