Tim Seeley and Ilias Kyriazis’ Humanoids Graphic Novel ‘Chronophage’ Combines Family Drama and Time Travel

Tim Seeley and Ilias Kyriazis ask the question “How much of your past would you be willing to give up for a chance at a new future?” in their new original graphic novel from Humanoids.

Seeley and Ilias Kyriazis’ sci-fi tale centers around a single mother and a mysterious man who is able to change past moments from her life, changing her history, and leaving her with some very difficult choices about the life she once had and the life that awaits her should she accept it.

Seely was happy to get the opportunity provided by the publisher, as “Humanoids has let us tell a contained horror romance here… a high concept, terrifying tale about relationships and the time we put into them. No matter how long a life can seem, the moments we share with the people we love are finite and can usually be counted in hours. That scares me more than just about anything else. Ilias brings a real humanity to this story, and I think you’re going to fall in love with both our leads, even if one of them isn’t what they say they are.”

Kyriazis reunited with Seeley for Chronophage after working with him on The Crow: Lethe and says that “Chronophage proved to be just the right project. Being all about time, it allowed me to experiment with layouts and rhythm to use techniques that’d only work on a graphic novel.”

Chronophage will be available at your local comic shop or book store on February 15, 2021. Check out the cover below and keep coming back to Conskipper for all of your comic, horror, and sci-fi needs.
