The third edition of the ever popular Iron Fist: Fury of Iron Fist Epic Collection is back on store shelves once again.
Previously released in 2015 and 2018, the Fist collection still contains Danny Rand’s original solo stories from Marvel Premiere #15-25, Iron Fist #1-15, and his first showdown with the Steel Serpent (with assists from Spider-Man, Collen Wing, and Misty Knight) in Marvel Team-Up #63-64.
The collection is filled with some of Marvel’s greatest writers and artists of the era (1974-1977), such as Roy Thomas, Len Wein, Doug Moench, Tony Isabella, Chris Claremont, Gil Kane, Larry Hama, Arvell Jones, Pat Broderick, John Byrne, Dick Giordano, Klaus Janson, Dan Green, Vince Colletta, Aubrey Bradford, Bob McLeod, Al McWilliams, Frank Chiaramonte, Dan Adkins and Dave Hunt.
The origins of the Iron Fist and the mystical city of K’un-Lun are detailed in Fury of Iron Fist, as well as a number of battles with classic 1970s Kung-Fu villains such as The Scythe, Triple-Iron, The Death Cult of Kara-Kai, The Daughters of Kali, The Ninja, Scimitar, and Khumnala Bey.
Rand also tangles with super-powered adversaries from across the Marvel Universe in the collection including the familiar (Sabretooth-making his debut in Iron Fist #14, Batroc, Boomerang, The Wrecking Crew) and the less memorable (Atomic Man, Warhawk, Mindstorm, Monstroid, Radium). The Fist even finds some time to thrown down with Iron Man and Captain America, continuing the grand tradition of Marvel heroes fighting each other and then making up later.
Iron Fist #15 guest stars the Uncanny X-men and leads directly into the Powerman and Iron Fist #48, forever cementing the duo as one of the most famous in Marvel history.
The Iron Fist: Fury of Iron Fist Epic Collection weighs in at 528 pages with a suggested retail price of $49.99.
