‘The Clone Saga’ Takes Center Stage Again in ‘Amazing Spider-Man: Web of Life, Web of Death’ Epic Collection

Marvel once again “clones” one of the most polarizing comic stories of all time in the new Amazing Spider-Man: Web of Life, Web of Death Epic Collection.

Web of Life, Web of Death collects Web of Spider-Man #120-123, Spider-Man #54-56, The Amazing Spider-Man #397-399, The Spectacular Spider-Man #220-222, Spider-Man Unlimited #8, Spider-Man: Funeral for an Octopus #1-3, and Spider-Man: The Clone Journal.

The stories in the collection are written by Terry Kavanagh, Howard Mackie, Todd Dezago, J.M. DeMatteis, Tom DeFalco, Tom Lyle, Tom Brevoort, and Mike Kanterovich, with art by Steven Butler, Tom Lyle, Phil Gosier, Mike Manley, Mark Bagley, Sal Buscema, Ron Lim, Stewart Johnson, Tod Smith, Robert Brown, Randy Emberlin, Don Hudson, Scott Hanna, Joe Rubinstein, Larry Mahlstedt, Bill Sienkiewicz, Al Milgrom, Sam de la Rosa, Tom Palmer, and Harry Cabdelario.

Peter Parker and Ben Reilly (and readers) try to make sense of the original stories featuring more than one Spider-Man, with appearances by the Grim Hunter, the mysterious Kaine, the Jackal, and the Sinister Six.
