The start of J. Michael Straczynski, John Romita Jr., and Scott Hanna’s run on Amazing Spiderman serves as the basis for the new Coming Home Modern Era Epic Collection.
The Amazing Spiderman: Coming Home Modern Era Epic Collection includes The Amazing Spider-Man #30-45 and takes Peter Parker back to his Midtown High roots when he gets a job as a science teacher.
The creative team add to Spidey’s mythos with the introduction of Ezekiel, who raises interesting questions about Spider-Man’s origins. Other highlights include the debut of arch-villain Morlun, Peter’s trip to California and his battle with Doc Ock in the Golden State, a heart-to-heart conversation with Aunt May about Peter’s alter ego, and the 9/11 tribute issues.
The Amazing Spiderman: Coming Home Modern Era Epic Collection consists of 392 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
