‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and ‘Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives’ Joins Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios

Universal Studios Orlando announced two new houses for their annual Halloween Horror Nights event, one a perennial drive-in classic and the other, an update on the original Universal Monsters.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre house will put guests in the direct line of sight of Leatherface and his demented family as you “Explore every familiar room of the Sawyer home, from the parlor to the blood-splattered kitchen You’ll face carving knives. Meat cleavers. Meat hooks. And of course, that roaring, slicing, flesh-ripping chainsaw.”

In the second house announced today, the Bride of Frankenstein takes center stage, attempting to resurrect her “husband” to battle the Brides of Dracula, “…who she captures and drains in hopes of reanimating her love.”

The Haunting of Hill House was recently announced for the event as well, and Beetlejuice led the pack as the first house based on intellectual property.

It is unclear at this time if The Texas Chainsaw and Bride houses will also open in Hollywood, so stay tuned for further updates.

Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights from September 3 to Halloween night at Universal Studios Orlando and from September 9 to the October 31 in Hollywood.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale.
