DC continues to roll out classic tabloid-sized (Treasury) editions with 1978’s All New Collectors’ Edition #C-58: Superman vs. Shazam! this May.
The rereleased facsimile edition is written by Gerry Conway with art by Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano, and concerns immortal Martian wizard Karmang’s team-up with Black Adam and his plot to bring back his world at the expense of both Earth-One and Earth-S. Karmang pits Superman vs. Captain Marvel against each other to keep them out of the execution of his dastardly plan.
Superman vs. Shazam! will be available in a standard ($14.99) and foil variant edition ($16.99) at your local comic shop on May 28.
DC recently released an over-sized The Untold Legend Of The Batman in the same format.
