Peter David’s long run on Supergirl continues in the new Supergirl: Die and Let Live DC Finest edition.
Die and Let Live collects Supergirl #19-35, Supergirl One Million, Resurrection Man #16-17, Team Superman Secret Files, Team Superman, Supergirl/Prysm Double-Shot, and a Supergirl story from Adventure Comics 80-Page Giant.
In addition to David, the stories contain writing by Dan Abnett, Andy Laning, Mark Millar, and Dan Jurgens, with art by Leonard Kirk, Cam Smith, Prentice Rollins, Robin Riggs, Sean Phillips, Jason Orfalas, Dusty Abell, Norman Lee, Butch Guice, John Stanisci, Georges Jeanty, Doug Hazlewood, Tom Grindberg, and Chris Ivy.
David’s Linda Danvers’ version of Supergirl, starts to settle into the role (previously held by Kara Zor-El), rids herself of her abusive ex, and reveals her new dual identity to her parents.
Highlight include new metahuman love interest Comet, brawls with Steel, Fracture, and Granny Goodnesss’ Furies, a crossover with Resurrection Man, and the return of Matrix.
DC Finest: Supergirl: Live and Let Die consists of 576 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
