DC is preparing for a busy Summer of Supergirl content, and what better way to commemorate the season than with a new Summer of Supergirl Special over-sized one-shot comic!
The 48-page anthology includes a trio of stories spotlighting Kara Zor-El, headlined by Sophie Campbell and Belén Ortega’s Supergirl vs. Lobo story (who also plays a main role in the upcoming film).
Two additional stories starring the “Girl of Steel” by Mark Waid and Cian Tormey and Gail Simone and Emma Kubert are also included in the comic.
The Supergirl film will debut on June 26, an adaptation of Tom King, Bilquis Evely, and Mat Lopes Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow series.
If you are looking for even more Lobo, DC recently released the 1,256 page Lobo: Big Fraggin’ Compendium One in 2024 and a new Lobo ongoing series launched on March 18 by by Skottie Young and Jorge Corona.
