IDW presents a new edition of the fan-favorite Star Trek comic book story from 1984 entitled “The Mirror Universe Saga” this March.
Originally published by DC Comics (when they held the license) in Star Trek #9-16 by Mike W. Barr, Tom Sutton, Ricardo Villagran, the story begins directly after Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, as the original Enterprise Crew confronts evil versions of themselves and at the same time attempt to close the rift in space that may result in an interdimensional invasion.
“The Mirror Universe Saga” was originally collected as a graphic novel in 1992 by DC Comics (with a cover by Ken Christie and an introduction by A.C. Crispin). The new IDW Edition has cover by J. K. Woodward (and it is not clear of Crispin’s intro made the cut, or if they have the rights to it).
Star Trek Classics: The Mirror Universe Saga trade paperback contains 192 pages for a suggested retail price of $24.99.
Look for the blast from the past in stores on March 16.
