A brand new manga series from Viz Media (based on Nintendo Switch’s Splatoon 2 characters and designs) is ready to paint the walls (and floors, and stairs, etc) this summer.
The new series by Hideki Goto will feature more of the irreverent paint-spilling action that fans of the manga series and video games expect. Squid Kids is the second series from Viz, and the original Splatoon manga by Sankichi Hinodeya (which debuted in in 2016) is currently up to volume 9, with volume 10 scheduled for a September 8, 2020 release.
Splatoon is available for the Nintendo Wii U and Splatoon 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch. Splatoon: Squid Kids Comedy Show Volume 1 will launch on July 14, 2020.
