‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Shows No Signs of Slowing Down at Weekend Box Office

If you haven’t seen Spider-Man: No Way Home yet, you hopefully received some tickets in your Christmas stocking, because they were as scarce as free popcorn refills at your local cineplex this weekend.

Spider-Man: No Way Home easily repeatedly over its second weekend of release to the estimated tune of $81.5 million, not even including a multiverse-sized Christmas Day haul ($31.7 million) and huge sales during the week. Domestically, No Way Home has already earned over $467 million and it also became the highest grossing film of the year worldwide with $1.1 billion (with no help from China, as of yet).

Neo and the King’s Man couldn’t put a dent in the Spider-Man armor, with the Matrix sequel bringing in $12 million this weekend and King’s Man delivering a paltry $6.4 million over the weekend.

With weeks of lesser competition at the theater on the way, Spidey should continue to dominate ticket sales.

Come back next week to see how much more cash Spider-Man can snare in his webs.
