‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Early Ticket Sales Best Since ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Spider-Man fans, tantalized by months of live-action Spider-Verse speculation, continue to buy pre-sale tickets at a rapid pace, trailing only Avengers: Endgame in advance ticket purchases.

Fandango (according to Variety) has reported that Spider-Man: No Way Home has outstripped every title released since the pandemic, and most pre-pandemic sales numbers. So far, Spidey is swinging ahead of Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Sales have also been excellent in the United Kingdom, as “…theatre chain Vue says it sold more than 150,000 tickets to “No Way Home” on Monday alone, setting a company record for the highest volume on launch day in history. Sales were double that of pre-orders for Vue’s previous record-holder Avengers: Endgame (which opened to $55 million in the U.K.) and four times as much as Star Wars: The Last Jedi (which opened to $37 million in the U.K.).”
