‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Takes Home Multiverse-Sized Box Office Win

Nothing could stop Spidey from recording the second biggest weekend box office of all time, in any era, to the tune of $260 million.

Spider-Man: Now Way Home was able to unseat 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and after all the receipts were counted, Avengers: Infinity War as well. The third film in the latest Spider-Man series also charted the second best opening day in the history with $121.5M (including Thursday evening showings).

The only film that made more than No Way Home over its first weekend (coincidentally also starring Tom Holland as the loveable wall-crawler) was Avengers: Endgame ($357 million) in 2018.

Fan excitement for the film (with an A+ CinemaScore and a 99% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes) was matched by strong reviews (as the film currently has a 94% on the Tomato Meter), leading to the perfect box office cash storm for Sony and Marvel.

Our advice to you is to secure your tickets now, as No Way Home is sure to pick up plenty of dollars over the holidays.
