Spidey and His Amazing Friends Celebrate the Season in ‘Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular’ One-Shot

Following Marvel’s holiday comic traditions of year’s past, the Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular arrives just in time for Black Friday as the perfect stocking stuffer (just place it next to the stocking, not in it).

Written by Rainbow Rowell with art by Luciano Vecchio, Bob Quinn, Paco Medina, and Nathan Stockman, the Holiday one-shot stars a lonely Peter Parker and his more than willing festive friends in the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and the X-Men, as well as Daredevil, Captain Marvel, and Aunt May, who attempt to cheer up Spidey for the holiday season.

Last year’s holiday special was called Marvel Holiday Tales to Astonish and included stories starring the Fantastic Four (by Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto), the X-Men (a Hanukkah tale with Kitty Pryde by Daniel Kibblesmith and Pat Olliffe), and Spider-Man (featuring both Peter Parker and Miles Morales by Gene Luen Yang and Dylan Burnett).

Check out all of the covers by Luciano Vecchio, Emma Lupacchino, Kasia Nie, and Meghan Hetrick below and be sure to check out Conskipper’s look back at Marvel’s Giant Superhero Holiday Grab-Bag Treasury Editions right here.
