In addition to the start of the Silver Surfer’s second (and much longer) solo series, the Epic Collection also contains some hidden gems including 1982’s Silver Surfer one-shot by John Byrne, Stan Lee, and Tom Palmer, Super-Villain Classics Galactus-the Origin (from 1983) which retells the planet-eater’s backstory by Lee, Byrne, Mark Gruenwald, Jack Kirby, Vince Colletta, and George Klein, an existential Surfer story from Epic Illustrated #1 by Lee, John Buscema and Rudy Nebres, the two-part Marvel/Epic mini-series by Lee and Moebius, the Silver Surfer: Judgment Day graphic novel by Lee and John Buscema, Silver Surfer: The Enslavers graphic novel by Lee and Keith Pollard, Marvel Fanfare #51 (which was originally slated to be the first issue of a new Silver Surfer series) by Englehart, Buscema, and Jack Abel, and a Surfer story written and drawn by Al Milgrom for Marvel Comics Presents #1.
The Silver Surfer: Return to the Spaceways Omnibus consists of 1,360 pages for a suggested cover price of $150.00.
