‘She-Hulk’ Returns in New On-Going Series by Rainbow Rowell and Rogê Antônio

Rainbow Rowell and Rogê Antônio will welcome Jennifer Walters back to the world of monthly comics in her new solo, on-going series this January.

Spinning out of Jason Aaron’s Avengers title, Walters appears to be much calmer and “normal” than the one pictured in “World War She-Hulk” in the new series, as she returns to practicing law, using her brains (and brawn when necessary) once again.

The first issue kicks off with the return of an old friend and a mystery that takes her places the She-Hulk has not previously traveled to (in a physical and metaphorical sense).

Rowell calls She-Hulk “…the best of the best. She’s smart, she’s funny—and she’s really and truly heroic (all that and she has the best hair in comics). Jen has always been at the top of my Marvel wish list, and I’m thrilled to be writing her next chapter.”

Antônio is excited to be paired with Rowell on the new series and calls the experience “…inspiring and it’s amazing how she lets her passion for the character shine through on every page. I hope the fans have as much fun reading as I’m having illustrating these new adventures.”

Look for She-Hulk #1 in stores on January 19 with two distinct covers by Jen Bartel and Adam Hughes and keep coming back to Conskipper for all of your gamma-irradiated news and reviews.
