‘She-Hulk by Peter David’ Omnibus Collects Writer’s Take on the Jade Giantess

Peter David made a career writing the gamma-irradiated adventures of Bruce Banner, but he also spent some time with Bruce’s cousin Jennifer over the years.

This May’s She-Hulk by Peter David Omnibus collects all of David’s stint on the title, as well as some crossovers and assorted appearances. The entire table of contents includes: She-Hulk (2005) #22-38, Sensational She-Hulk #1 and #12, She-Hulk: Cosmic Collision #1, and X-Factor #33-34 (which David was also writing at the time). David is joined by artists such as Shawn Moll, Val Semeiks, Dave Meikis, Victor Olazaba, Vincenzo Cucca, and more throughout his time on the title.

The original issues were published between 2007 and 2009 (after Dan Slott left the title) and sees Jennifer Walters become a bounty hunter and team-up with a Skrull named Jazinda (which leads directly into the Secret Invasion tie-ins). A variety of villains make her new job more difficult including The Absorbing Man, alien enforcers, a Celtic god and the unforgettable Man-Elephant!

The She-Hulk by Peter David Omnibus comes with the choice of two different covers: one by Mike Deodato Jr. and the other by Ed McGuinness (which is the variant version).

The latest She-Hulk omnibus will be available on May 18 and retails for $75.00.
