The less-exciting sequel to Marvel’s Secret Wars gets a rare trade paperback reissue this month.
1985’s Secret Wars II graphic novel contains all nine issues by Jim Shooter, Al Milgrom, and Steve Leialoha that saw the Beyonder take human form and descend on Earth to learn all about life on the planet (and to decide whether it should remain in existence).
This is the second trade paperback edition of the entire series, last published in 2011. Secret Wars II did get a complete Omnibus edition in 2009 that also included all of the many crossover issues. A series of four hardcover volumes were released in 2015 that contained all of the comics found in the Omnibus.
The Secret Wars II collection consists of 264 pages for a suggested retail price of $34.99.
