Even the most skilled internet sleuths will be confounded by the stark, black preview cover of DC Comics Free Comic Book Day 2024 issue!
On May 4, 2024, the initial chapter (and a much more exciting cover) of a story 30 years in the making will be revealed, launching a new series in the summer of 2024.
In addition to the top secret, main event comic, DC will also offer three more free selections at your participating local comic shop including previews of upcoming original graphic novels Barkham Asylum by writer and artist Yehudi Mercado (in stores on May 7) and Barda by author Ngozi Ukazu (June 4).
The fourth freebie comes in the form of a comic book-sized version of Mad Magazine (featuring a wide variety of classic favorites like “Spy vs. Spy”, “A MAD Look at…” by Sergio Aragonés, and parodies of your favorite DC heroes) at this year’s event.
