The suburban horror film that sent millions of children searching under their beds for killer clowns long before Pennywise hit the scene will return to theaters in late September to celebrate the film’s 40th Anniversary.
The three-day Fathom Events screenings will take place at select theaters across the country on Sunday, September 25, Monday, September 26, and Wednesday, September 28. Matinees are more likely to be held on Sunday, but check your local listings, as times may vary.
This 40th anniversary event will also include some expert insight from one of the hosts from Turner Classic Movies.
And if you’d like to take in a sci-fi classic from 1982 as well this month, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan will play in select theaters earlier in the month on Sunday, September 4, Monday, September 5, and Thursday, September 8.
