‘Origins of Marvel Comics: Marvel Tales’ #1 Gives Fans Four Cornerstone Stories in One Comic

While there are plenty of ways to relive or discovery the foundational origin stories of Marvel Comics’ finest, December’s Origins of Marvel Comics: Marvel Tales #1 uses the original single comic book delivery system.

The 92 page comic (with a suggested retail price of $7.99 and in stores on December 14) contains the original stories by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko that founded the Marvel Universe as we know it in the pages of Fantastic Four #1, Amazing Fantasy #15, X-Men #1, and Avengers #1.

Each issue appears just as they did in the early ’60s (with higher quality paper and a much higher price tag of course).

It is not clear if the series will continue to collect the cornerstones of Marvel, but stay tuned to Conskipper for further updates and all of your vintage comic news.
