Beehive Books has just added a series of three watercolor prints by Mike Mignola to their current Kickstarter for a deluxe, illustrated edition of Pinocchio.
The prints are copies of full color paintings created by Mignola for the New York’s Society of Illustrators exhibition (opening on July 8), which will feature the full portfolio of the yet-to-be-published Pinocchio Beehive Books edition. Mignola contributed over 50 additional illustrations to the project, which also includes 100+ annotations by Lemony Snicket.
The prints of Mignola’s Pinocchio paintings are available as their own $50 tier, an add-on with every other tier, and as a free bonus item with every special edition of the book on Kickstarter.
