‘Moon Knight: Butcher’s Moon’ Epic Collection Includes Entire ‘Fist of Khonshu’ Series

The latest Moon Knight Epic Collection gathers many of the character’s appearances throughout the mid-1980s, including 1985’s short-lived Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu series.

The Moon Knight: Butcher’s Moon Epic Collection also contains the first seven issues of the more successful Marc Spector: Moon Knight Series from 1989 (which to date is the longest running Moon Knight title), and various one-shots and guest appearances in Marvel Team-Up #144, Marvel Fanfare #30, 38, and 39, Solo Avengers #3,and Marvel Super Heroes #1.

With so many different titles and appearances in the collection, Butcher’s Moon represents the work of a wide variety of writers and artists such asĀ Alan Zelenetz, Jim Owsley (otherwise known as Christopher Priest), Cary Burkett, Ann Nocenti, Chuck Dixon, Roger Stern, Jo Duffy, Michael Carlin, and Robert Ingersoll, Chris Warner, Mark Beacham, Greg LaRocque, Brent Anderson, Sal Velluto, Russ Heath, Bob Hall, Judith Hunt, Bill Reinhold, Mike Gustovich, E.R., Larry Hama, Alan Kupperberg, Geof Isherwood, Mike Esposito, Al Williamson, Mark Farmer, Stan Drake, Jim Fern, and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Moon Knight: Butcher’s Moon Epic Collection will be released on September 21, with a suggested retail price of $39.99. The 464 page volume includes the cover from Fist of Khonshu #6.
