DC’s Next Level line ventures into Weird Western Tales territory in Michael Walsh’s Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death series.
The six-issue series (both written and drawn by Walsh) places DC’s most infamous bounty hunter in a small town called Ashecott, where Hex must contend with both natural and supernatural evils if he ever wants a chance of spiritual redemption.
Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death follows other recent Next Level launches including Lobo, Deathstroke: The Terminator, The Fury of Firestorm, Teen Titans, Barbara Gordon: Breakout, Doom Patrol, and The Deadman.
Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death #1 will be available at your local comic shop on October 7 with a main cover by Walsh, and variant covers by Brian Bolland, Julian Totino Tedesco, Javier Rodríguez (1:25), and Hayden Sherman.
