From the box it comes in, to the detailed textures, to the real-life cloth enhancements, to the wide variety of interchangeable parts, Silent Hill fans will love everything about this piece.
As a collector of statues, I usually take one look at the box and then take out the statue and enjoy it. I was surprised at the sheer size of this box for a sixth scale statue, but Pyramid Head isn’t the size of a normal character to begin with! The box is massive and detailed, glossy and colorful. It was clear right from opening the box that attention to detail was on Mezco’s mind for this piece.
Upon first opening the box, I simply couldn’t believe the number of pieces and accessories. The number of display options is almost intimidating at first, but Mezco includes a guide which shows which arms can go with which weapons, and even how to fit one of the arms through the cloth costume. Most instructions which come with statues like this leave a lot to be desired, but Mezco’s was very easy to follow.
The base on this piece is the size of most quarter scale statues! It’s full of gnarly textures and details which brings collectors right back to the Silent Hill 2 Otherworld. From there on out, every little piece and detail looks like it was created by craftsmen who know and love the game and all of its awful details.

I had a wonderful time choosing a display format and photographic the statue for this review! The paint apps are spot-on, and all of the pieces are well made.
What’s even more impressive is that this incredible piece costs just $265. Other companies would be easily charging twice as much for something of the same size and quality. Mezco’s Static Six Silent Hill 2 Red Pyramid Thing statue has got me very excited for the possibilities of the Static Six line, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they do next!
