The ever-popular artist Arthur Adams gets his very own Omnibus collection, highlighting his earliest work across the Marvel Universe.
The Marvel Universe by Arthur Adams Omnibus begins with his first Marvel collaboration with writer Ann Nocenti, 1985’s six-issue Longshot mini-series, before extending out into other X-Men material such as New Mutants Special Edition (1985), The Uncanny X-Men Annual #9 and 10, X-Factor #41-42, and Excalibur: Mojo Mayhem.
Other comics include: Cloak and Dagger #9, his “New Fantastic Four” issues (featuring Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Ghost Rider) in Fantastic Four #347-349, and stories from Web of Spider-Man Annual #2, The Uncanny X-Men Annual #12 and 14, Fantastic Four #358, and Marvel Holiday Special 1991.
Adams is joined by writers Chris Claremont, Bill Mantlo, Louise Simonson, Walt Simonson, and Tom DeFalco and artists Bill Anderson, Whilce Portacio, Terry Austin, Al Gordon, Mike Mignola, Bob Wiacek, Al Milgrom, Dan Green, Art Thibert, and Steve Moncuse in the new Omnibus.
In addition to all of the stories, the Omnibus will also showcase a number of covers, pinups, posters, trading cards, and original art.
The Marvel Universe by Arthur Adams Omnibus consists of 1,200 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
The Omnibus comes in a standard “Stop that Bearded Man!” Marvel Universe cover and a variant cover featuring Longshot and his X-Men pals cover.
