Luke Cage wraps up his solo Power Man series before teaming up with Iron Fist and creating one of the most popular pairings in comics in the Fire This Time Epic Collection.
Luke Cage: The Fire This Time Epic Collection (spanning from 1975 to 1977) collects Luke Cage, Power Man #24-47 and Annual #1.
The stories in the Epic Collection are written by Don McGregor, Marv Wolfman, Chris Claremont, Tony Isabella, Bill Mantlo, Steve Englehart, George Perez, Ed Hannigan, and Roger Slifer, with art by George Tuska, Lee Elias, Ron Wilson, George Perez, Rich Buckler, Arvell Jones, Sal Buscema, Frank Robbins, Marie Severin, Bob Brown, Vince Colletta, Dave Hunt, Fred Kida, Al McWilliams, Keith Pollard, Frank Springer, Joe Giella, Frank Giacoia, Aubrey Bradford, Jim Mooney, Klaus Janson, Tom Palmer, Alex Nino, and Bob Smith.
Cage faces a colorful gallery of villains such as Moses Magnum, The Circus of Crime, the Mace, Chemistro, the Spear, Piranha Jones, the Night Shocker, Cockroach Hamilton, Mr. Fish, Wildfire, Mangler, Big Brother, Thunderbolt and Goldbug, and Zzzax.
The collection also includes the debut of fellow hero Bill Foster as Giant-Man.
Luke Cage: The Fire This Time Epic Collection consists of 472 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
