Dark Horse Manga’s next deluxe edition series brings Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima’s world famous Lone Wolf and Cub manga to audiences this winter in an oversized hardcover format.
The Lone Wolf & Cub Deluxe Edition Volume 1 arrives in December 2025.
Translated by Dana Lewis with lettering by Studio Cutie, the deluxe editions feature the story in its original right-to-left reading format, with the original Japanese sound effects.
The tale of Ōgami Ittō’s path of vengeance (with his infant son in tow) will displayed in a 7″ x 10″ trim size, and the first volume will collect the stories originally presented in the Dark Horse paperback collections of Lone Wolf and Cub Volumes 1 and 2 (and a few stories from Volume 3), now arranged in the traditional right-to-left format.
Lone Wolf and Cub Deluxe Edition Volume 2 collects stories from Lone Wolf and Cub Volume 3 and Lone Wolf and Cub Volumes 4 and 5. The second volume will be released in March of 2026.
Lone Wolf and Cub Deluxe Edition Volume 1 will be in stores on December 9, and consists of 720-pages for a suggested retail price of $54.99.
