One of the most frequently released stories from DC Comics back catalogue returns to give fans new and old another chance to experience Legion of Super-Heroes: The Great Darkness Saga.
The third edition of this version of The Great Darkness Saga trade paperback (originally published as monthly comics from 1982 to 1983) once again collects Legion of Super Heroes #287 and 290-294 and Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #1 by Paul Levitz, Keith Giffen. Pat Broderick, Curt Swan, Larry Mahlstedt, and Romeo Tanghal.
The 30th century return of Darkseid challenges the Legionnaires in ways they never imagined, but also brings out the best in the futuristic heroes.
The storyline was originally collected in 1989, with subsequent reprints in 2002 and 2014 and a hardcover version in 2010.
Legion of Super-Heroes: The Great Darkness Saga consists of 192 pages for a suggested cover price of $19.99.
The original cover by Keith Giffen and Larry Mahlstedt also returns to the latest edition (the previous cover was created by Giffern and Al Milgrom).
