The heroes of the future end their 1990’s run in the reissued Legion of Super-Heroes: Five Years Later Omnibus Vol. 2.
The Omnibus collects Legion of Super-Heroes #40-61, Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #4-5, L.E.G.I.O.N. #69-70, Legionnaires #1-18, Legionnaires Annual #1, and Valor #20-23.
All stories are written by Tom Bierbaum, Mary Bierbaum, Tom McCraw, Tom Peyer, Ty Templeton, Kurt Busiek, and Mark Waid.

Picking up right after the first volume (primarily helmed by classic Legion writer/artist Keith Giffen), the second omnibus edition features older Legionaries teaming up with their younger counterparts to protect what’s left of humanity after the destruction of Earth (before Zero Hour changes the status quo for DC Comics once again).
The Five Years Vol. 2 Omnibus was originally released in 2022. A second edition of Five Years Vol.1 was released in 2025.
