While the world waits for Wonder Woman 1984, comic writers and artists and toy designers (and even Revlon cosmetics) continue to roll out new stories and merchandise inspired by the symbol of liberty.
Japan’s Kotobukiya recently got in the act when they announced a new model kit based on the designs of Fumikane Shimada (and sculpted by Yoshihiro Saimaru). The figure stands at almost 6.5″ tall and comes with three different faces (looking straight ahead, eyes glancing to the left, and shouting) and a sword, shield, the Lasso of Truth (which is an actual lasso), and various armored parts.
The model figure kit (which does require assembly) is scheduled for a January 2021 release in Japan. Some retailers stateside are also starting to offer the figure for sale in February as well. The figure retails for $59.99.
