The fourth installment in the X-Factor Epic Collection series highlights the seven-part “Judgment War” storyline and 1989’s “Inferno” mutant crossover event.
The X-Factor: Judgment War Epic Collection contains X-Factor #37-50 written by Louise Simonson (with one fill-in issue by Kieron Dwyer) with art by Dwyer, Walter Simonson, Rob Liefeld, Arthur Adams, Paul Smith, Rich Buckler, Terry Shoemaker, Bob Wiacek, and Al Milgrom.
The bulk of the collection focuses on the aforementioned storylines (which saw the team battle demons and Scott Summers’ estranged wife Madelyne Pryor-otherwise known as the Goblin Queen-for the soul of their son Nathan and embark on a Celestial battle through space on distant planets) with added “Inferno” chapters from Uncanny X-Men #242-243 by Chris Claremont, Marc Silvestri, Dan Green, and Hilary Barta.
Judgment War also includes X-Factor Annual #4, the 12th chapter in 1989’s “Atlantis Attacks” summer crossover by John Byrne and Walt Simonson with ancillary tales by Ralph Macchio, Mark Gruenwald, Jim Fern, Joe Rubinstein, Peter Sanderson, Mark Bagley, and Keith Williams.
The X-Factor: Judgment War Epic Collection consists of 496 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
