Writer John Ridley and artist Juann Cabal will relaunch Black Panther with a new number one issue this November.
Ridley and Cabal’s new series takes place directly after Ta-Nehisi Coates long run on the title wraps up on May 26 in Black Panther #25 with the conclusion of “The Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda” storyline.
The new ongoing series will bring the Panther back to Earth and explore secrets from T’Challa’s past. Ridley (who just got done creating the new Future State Batman for DC Comics) described the series to The New York Times as “…a hybrid espionage-Super Hero thriller, but at its core, it’s a love story.
