Those of you who missed out on 2018’s John Byrne’s X-Men Artifact Edition will get a second chance to own the mammoth celebration of Byrne’s Uncanny X-Men art in IDW’s upcoming Artist’s Edition.
The John Byrne Artist’s Edition will be released on December 19 and is an exact reproduction of the previous Artifact Edition, highlighting the art from Byrne, Chris Claremont, and Terry Austin’s seminal run.
The over-sized (12″ x 17″) book contains high resolution scans of Byrne and Austin’s original art, featuring all the aspects of a traditional comic book page with blue pencil notations, corrections, margin notes, and every other marking that could be found on the original pages.
The 160 pages Artist’s Edition comes with a cover price of $150.
