Writer/artist Jim Rugg tackles sixty years of the Gamma-irradiated adventures of the Incredible Hulk in March’s Hulk: Grand Design series.
Similar to Ed Piskor’s X-Men: Grand Design series and Tom Scioli’s Fantastic Four: Grand Design, Hulk: Grand Design highlights and unites the biggest moments in the Hulk’s history.
Rugg told ComicBook.com that “I looked at this project as part comics and part history. So part of the theme or arc of this story is let’s look at one of the most popular characters to come out of 20th-century storytelling. Here are some of the notable moments in his story, here are some of the great artists and visuals, and here are some of his achievements as one of the best-known characters in the world!”
The first issue of the new limited series will feature four distinct covers by Rugg, Piskor, Peach Momoko, and Marcos Martin and will retail for $5.99.
