The DC Finest Collection includes two anthology stories by Moore featuring Abin Sur’s visit to the prison planet Ysmault, where he encounters a prophecy about “The Blackest Night” that foretells the fall of the Guardians and the rise of the Sinestro Corps and a story about a blind Lantern who rewrites her oath due to the fact that she can not comprehend colors.

Guy Gardner also causes all sorts of trouble for the new Corps as the rogue Green Lantern both battles the group and creates a number of messes that they need to clean up.
