The clean-shaven Oliver Queen is featured in the reissued Green Arrow: The Golden Age Omnibus Vol. 1.
The Omnibus (originally printed in 2017) collects stories from More Fun Comics #73-107, World’s Finest #7-28, and Adventure Comics #103-117.
All stories are written by co-creator Mort Weisinger, Don Cameron, Joseph Green, Joe Samachson, Alvin Schwartz, and France Herron, with art by co-creator George Papp, Cliff Young, Maurice Del Bourgo, Bernard Klein, and Steve Brodie.
Beginning in 1941, Green Arrow and his trusty sidekick Speedy take on typical villains of the day such as crooks, gangsters, Nazis, and even a few low-level super villains.
The Omnibus also contains a foreword by Golden Age aficionado Roy Thomas.
The Green Arrow: The Golden Age Omnibus consists of 792 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
