The Shadow Planet (by writer Giovanni Barbieri and artist Gianluca Pagliarani) original graphic novel from Image Comics invades comic shops in September with a healthy dose of Sci-Fi and Lovecraftian terror.
“It’s some kind of Star Trek with cigarettes, sex and bad language,” said Barbieri.
When the crew of the rocket Vidar lands on a barren planet to rescue a lost patrol, according to Pagliarani, “It’s a bonanza of rusty rockets, clunky space-suits, and hideous monsters.”
The Shadow Planet trade paperback will be available at local comic book shops on September 24 and at your local bookstore on Tuesday, October 7.
