The Ghostbusters are back at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood for the Halloween season and it is about to get very cold.
The Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire haunted house will debut at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 30 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5.
Fans can expect to find a chilly New York City set when they enter the house along with the Spengler family and the original Ghostbusters. Guests will encounter the vengeful spirit of Garraka, who looks to plunge the world into a new Ice Age.
Brave participants will also visit Ray’s Occult Books shop, the Ghostbuster’s new high-tech lab and containment facility, and New York City sewer system (be sure to keep your eye out for C.H.U.D.s as well, although they unfortunately won’t be there). Fans will also encounter some of the memorable ghosts from previous entries in the film franchise as well.
HHN will have plenty of original houses and scare zones as usual, with A Quiet Place joining Ghostbusters as they only film or TV-based house announced so far.
Select tickets for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights are on-sale now. More information about all Universal Orlando’s current Halloween Horror Nights offers and entitlements can be found at www.universalorlando.com/halloween.
