‘Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch’ Omnibus Blazes into Comic Shops for First Ride

The runaway reinvention of Ghost Rider by Howard Mackie and Mark Texeira careens into your local comic shop with plenty of hellfire and guest stars galore in the new Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch Omnibus.

The Omnibus collects the rider of the 90s in Ghost Rider #1-24, and a plethora of big name team-ups in Spider-Man #6-7, Marc Spector: Moon Knight #25, Doctor Strange #28, Punisher War Journal #29-30, and Ghost Rider/Wolverine/Punisher: Hearts of Darkness.

Danny Ketch (and Johnny Blaze in a long duster jacket, sans the flaming head) stories from Marvel Holiday Special #1991 and his anthology adventures in Marvel Comics Presents #64-71 and 90-118 are also included in the Omnibus.

All of the stores are written by Mackie, Todd McFarlane, Mike Baron, Chris Cooper, Joey Cavalieri, Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Dan Slott, with art by Texeira, McFarlane, Javier Saltares, Mark Bagley, Chris Marrinan, Larry Stroman, Guang Yap, John Romita, Jr., Ron Wagner, Sam Kieth, Rick Leonardi, John Stanisci, Shawn McManus, John Herbert, Andy Kubert, Jimmy Palmiotti, Tim Vigil, Harry Candelario, Tom Palmer, Mark McKenna, Bud LaRosa, Klaus Janson, Sam Kieth, Ken Branch, Al Milgrom, Michael Bair, Vince Evans, and Ariane Lenshoek.

The new Spirit of Vengeance is launched flaming head first into battles with Deathwatch, Blackout, Mister Hyde, the Scarecrow, Nightmare, Hobgoblin, Zodiak and more devilish opponents.

The Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch Omnibus consists of 1,216 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.

The Omnibus is available with two covers by Mark Texeira (and no, the main cover does not glow in the dark like the original comic).
