Garth Ennis and Mike Perkins’ Freddie the Fix one-shot, magazine-sized horror comic opens the vault door of the new Image Comics horror imprint called Ninth Circle.
The Freddie the Fix one-shot throws together werewolves, vampires, zombies, aliens, bogeymen, predators, and the man who needs to clean up all of their messes in Hollywood.
Ennis said “Everyone likes a bit of Hollywood dirt now and again—a little filth, a little squalor, a little wrongdoing amongst the movie star magic. But how would you like it if it was your job to clean it up? And even worse, if it was movie monsters you were dealing with, not stars? Well, that’s what Freddie does for a living. And the multi-talented Mike Perkins and I are going to show you all the gory details.”
Ninth Circle was founded by Garth Ennis, Marguerite Bennett, Joe Pruett, Ram V, Adam Glass, Michael Bogner, and David Stone. The goal of Ninth Circle is to tell a number of “one-and-done” stories from all over the horror spectrum.
Freddie the Fix will be available at comic book shops on December 18 with a cover by Perkins and a 1:10 variant by Marcelo Frusin.
