Eli Roth and Zak Bagans horrifying team up, The Haunted Museum, is about to debut on discovery+ and the descriptions of the nine episodes are guaranteed to make you sleep with the lights on!
The first two episodes of the scripted anthology series will be available on Saturday, October 2, (exclusively on discovery+) as part of the annual Ghostober IV event. Each episode will be based on the “real-life” story of one of the many haunted and cursed objects that populate Bagan’s Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, many of which have been featured on Ghost Adventures and a number of Travel Channel spin-offs (such as the likely inspiration for the new anthology, Deadly Possesions).
Bagans calls The Haunted Museum “…the scariest thing you will ever watch” and Roth naturally agrees, saying that “I believe this show could go down as one of the scariest anthology horror television shows of all time. I am so excited to bring these terrifying stories to homes in time for Halloween. Working with Zak has been a scream, he was so helpful in guiding the stories of these horrific objects that most people would be too scared to even look at. There has never been a show where you can see a terrifying story and then visit the real cursed object in person after, if you dare. I stand behind my claim this will be the scariest show you will watch this Halloween season.”
And although Bagan’s owns thousands of reportedly haunted artifacts, the new series will focus on the “A-Listers” such as Peggy the Doll, the Devil’s Rocking Chair, Charles Manson’s cursed television, an antique mirror with an evil attachment, the Westerfeld dollhouse, a wooden tribal cursed statue, “spiritual equipment” that may be a portal to a demonic dimension, the Demon House staircase, and last but certainly not least, the infamous Dybbuk Box. Bagan’s will also provide exclusive commentary about each object in every episode of The Haunted Museum.
