Elvira and Dynamite Entertainment team up once again for another wacky comic book adventure, this time taking place in a real Multiverse of horror madness.
Springing directly out of the recently completed Elvira Meets Vincent Price series, Elvira in Horrorland take the Queen of Halloween all over the horror map and through pocket dimensions to some very familiar settings.
Elvira says that she has “…always been about celebrating the wonders of movies, especially fright flicks, from the classic to the cheese-tastic. I’m inviting all my fans to join me on this wild rollercoaster ride through so many of my favorite horror masterpieces!”
Writer David Avallone returns once again to script Elvira in Horrorland, and is joined by artist Silvia Califano on the series, which debuts in May.
Avallone is happy to get to work with Califano on Horrorland and says that “Silvia joined me for an upcoming Elvira special – more on that soon! — and she’s one of my favorite artists to work with. This series is a dream for me, and I hope it will be for all horror/Elvira fans… as we bounce around through movie parodies stuffed with enough Easter Eggs for a thousand omelets.”
Check out the four “psychotic” covers for issue one below by Califano, Dave Acosta, and John Royle, plus a photo cover profiling the Mistress of the Dark.
