‘Dune: Part Two’ Delayed Until March 2024

Dune: Part Two has been delayed until 2024, moving from November 3 all the way to March 15, 2024.

The sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s first Dune film was reportedly moved due to the current Writers Guild of America and Screen Actor’s Guild strike, which prohibits members from promoting films and television while the strike is on.

The move also gets Dune Part Two away from The Marvels on the calendar (currently scheduled for November 10), which would have certainly cut into the film’s box office for its second week of release.

Warner Bros. also moved their latest kaiju slugfest, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, from March 14 to April 12. Both Dune and Godzilla x Kong are produced by Legendary and Warner Bros.
