Do you love Halloween and Universal Studios Orlando, but are too scared to attend Halloween Horror Nights due to all of the scare actors roaming around?
Well, Universal Orlando may have a temporary solution for you with the new “Deathly Afraid” light-up necklace/lanyard.
The necklace/lanyard will be available for purchase (for $20) during Halloween Horror Nights and will reportedly reduce interactions with scare actors on the streets of Universal Studios Orlando and in scare zones.
The official display sign (available for purchase before you get into the park at the Universal Studios Store in City Walk, and in the park at the Universal Studios Store, the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, the Men In Black Gear Shop, and merchandise carts near Men In Black: Alien Attack) reads: “Deathly Afraid? Purchase a light up Deathly Afraid lanyard to limit scares in common areas and scare zones. Scare-free evening not guaranteed.”
While the necklace/lanyard may cut down on your frights, as it states above, it does not fully guarantee it.
And if you are thinking the HNN amulet will protect you in the haunted houses, you might as well give up now, as they will not offer any salvation from scares in the houses.
